Lecture

This book is about Anna Michaelis.

This book is about Anna Michaelis. After being cheated on by her husband, she packs up some laundry and takes the first flight to Edinburgh. Her way leads her to the National Gallery. In a painting by Gauguin, a woman, depicted from behind, suddenly begins to speak. It’s the beginning of a game. Anna travels on. She stands in front of pictures all over the world and discovers accomplices who tell of longing, everyday life in marriage, love. In preoccupation with the works of art, Anna looks back on her own marriage and finds the courage for a new self-image.
The book can be bought in the art shop of Forum Würth Chur.
