We discover ornaments, patterns and naive figurative representations in the millennia-old rock art, traditional arts and crafts as well as in contemporary works of art by a young generation from Namibia. Printmaking techniques with the simplest of means are at the center of artistic creation. The cardboard and linoleum print becomes an ambiguous form of expression between black and white. After a tour of the exhibition, we will create printmaking variations in the studio inspired by what we have seen.
