The Würth Collection came into being in the 1960s by Reinhold Würth. She is focused on paintings, graphic art and sculptures of the 20th and 21st century, but also has a significant collection of the later medieval works from southern Germany, the Lake Constance Region and northern Switzerland. The collection consists of approximately 17’000 artworks.
The Corporate Collection has been exhibited for 25 years mainly at the location of company headquarters at the Museum Würth in Künzelsau, Southern Germany and at the Kunsthalle Würth opened in 2001 in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany.
Since 1999 associated galleries from Würth Companies in Belgium, Danmark, France, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Austria and Spain have openend. In Switzerland the changing exhibitions can be seen in the Forum Würth Chur, Forum Würth Rorschach and in the Forum Würth Arlesheim.
